Professional Bat Control and Removal Service
These small mammals serve an important service, and catch half their body weight of flying insects each night. Even though they are important to the ecosystem, they can be a hazard if they decide to colonize in a home or business. Bats are a vector for rabies, and it’s very important that they only be removed by a wildlife professional. Bats that have colonized in an attic can damage insulation and sheetrock with their feces. In Tennessee, bats are protected from April 1 – August 1. We will come out, take pictures, and determine wether they can be removed during these dates. The TWRA gives permission only for certain circumstances.
After removal of the bats, we will seal up the entry points. You DO NOT want to go through this process again the following year! If cleanup is necessary, we do partial attic cleanups.
